Allegiance Behavioral Health Center of Plainview is a psychiatric behavioral health hospital with 20 beds, that treats adults primarily 55 years and older in the aging adult community. Our Hospital program is a short-term stay unit that will provide assessment, stabilization and short-term treatment, our patients are also followed medically by general medical doctors during their stay. The secured inpatient unit, it also features a dining room, common activity area and a group therapy area for patients designed for comfort and a safe environment for treatment. We have multidisciplinary team that staffs the Unit, providing nursing care as well as treatment and activity programs as well as personal care. Our Medical Director Dr. Victor Gutierrez has over 20 years’ experience in the mental health field and team coordinates the patient care, evaluates each patient individually to establish a care plan and goals. The mental health team consists of nursing, psychiatry, social workers, clerical support and patient care techs, they work in partnership with the patient to establish and meet care planned goals and continue individual care.
